The ECS family of senior independent living communities has so much to offer — beautiful settings, spacious accommodations, and a thriving social environment. We are also renowned for our commitment to life-long learning that emphasizes fresh opportunities for growth, connection, and discovery.
Our Creative Living Academy, available at our three Southern California active adult communities, offers a wealth of choices for our residents. From yoga and Spanish lessons, to cooking classes, movie nights and cultural events in the community, there are activities and events for all interests and tastes.
For those considering an ECS community as the next phase in a life well lived, we have developed the Creative Living Club, a program designed to allow people to experience our communities prior to moving in. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet your future neighbors,” says Sheryl Williams, Marketing Office Coordinator at MonteCedro. “It gives you a chance to talk to us, meet us, feel why it is different here – including the impact of a non-profit community.”
Every day, our residents enjoy unique, fascinating, and fun opportunities to explore all that life has to offer and Creative Living Club members can receive invitations to many of these events and activities. Often, these programs are led by individuals celebrated in their field, including world class musicians, scientific experts, and accomplished artists.
However, the greatest benefit of membership is connection. Those waiting to call one of our ECS communities home are able to spend time among future neighbors, meet our staff, and experience the vibrancy of our communities. Whether they are considering MonteCedro, our eight-acre, resort-style campus in Pasadena, The Covington, a secluded, gated neighborhood in Aliso Viejo, or The Canterbury, a destination for exceptional retirement living in Rancho Palos Verdes, the Creative Living Club provides a connection to people and place. Future residents can feel at ease about transitioning to their new home, with a group of now-familiar faces waiting to greet them. Thanks to the Creative Living Club, people move into our residences ready to join a community of new friends.
“We often hear from our residents that there are more activities to enjoy than there are hours in the day,” Sheryl says. Being a member of our Creative Living Club provides access to many of these events. It is all part of living a life enriched with possibility at one of our ECS communities.
